Ethical Considerations in Play Therapy

This online training will be led by Alyssa M. Cedillo LPC-S, RPT-S™ and Teddy Morrison LPC-Associate supervised by Alyssa Cedillo LPC-S, RPT-S.

Learning objectives include:

• Review ethical codes and decision-making models for providing culturally competent play therapy, and identify how to apply these in clinical practice.

• Participants will identify common ethical issues faced by play therapists and identify strategies to address these challenges.

• Participants will explore ethical challenges play therapists encounter in the digital age and post-crisis/pandemic settings, and identify tools to navigate these complexities.

The cost is $150 and 2.5 continuing education hours are available through the Association for Play Therapy. Licensed social workers may want to contact their state board to confirm that this training will meet their board’s requirements for continuing education credits.
